We are pleased that you will be participating in the High-level meeting on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) with the overall theme of “Universal health coverage: expanding our ambition for health and well-being in a post-COVID world”, which will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 21 September 2023.    

Access to the United Nations Headquarters: 

Due to security restrictions during the High-Level week of the General Assembly, the Special Event Tickets (SETs) will be distributed outside the WHO Office at One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 885 2nd Avenue New York, NY 10017. Please note that the SETs are name-specific and not transferrable. 

Please bring the following items when collecting your SET: 

1. A valid Government-issued photo ID such as a passport; 

1. A copy of the letter of approval from the United Nations which indicates the specific segment for which your participation is approved.   

A special event ticket is required to enter the United Nations Headquarters. Please note that the use of UN Grounds Passes for NGOs to access the UNHQ will be suspended from 18 – 29 September 2023. 

Please arrive one (1) hour prior to the start of the event to ensure enough time for the mandatory airport-standard security screening to enter the UN premises. 

Please note that the distribution of Special Event Tickets (SETs) for your particular event will take place on the following dates and times: 

• Tuesday, 19 September         1.00 pm – 5.00 pm (PPPR + UHC + TB) 

• Wednesday, 20 September    8.30 am – 11.00 am (PPPR + UHC + TB) 

• Thursday, 21 September        8:30 am – 11.00 am (UHC + TB) 

• Friday, 22 September             8.30 am – 10.00 am (TB) 

For security reasons, special event tickets must be worn by all participants at all times while at the UN Headquarters. Kindly note that all events will be streaming live on UN WebTV.
